I designed and developed my own ergonomic hand straps for the steam frame!
These hand straps use the existing battery cover and give you a good alternative to Valve's Ergonomic Kit for less.
These straps are comfortable; adjustable and affordable. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Built out of necessity; I call them the Hack Straps!
You can buy the HackStraps alone, or in a Kit that includes a Headset Top Strap As well.

Providing a great alternative here. I just couldn't like the head strap.
Quality was quite good.
I would give it a four, but adding an we extra star for the speed, responsiveness and just being an option while Valve can't it together.
The items are all printed in excellent quality. The community is fortunate to have passionate members who create quality projects like this.
Like the idea, but the straps for handheld are annoying to adjust. It's good enough to remedy the current situation as Valve did not have any Ergonomic Kit available. They really should have shipped that with Steam Frame. That said, this replacement is essential to have if there's no Ergonomic Kit available.
These hand straps rock!! The fit places my hand in the perfect position to reach all of the buttons.
I have medium hands and the factory straps did not work well for me.
These are a breeze to install, fit well and look super slick!
I am planning to purchase another set as soon as new colors are available (Glow in the Dark would be cool) and I’ll keep an eye out for future revisions!
